Named after the producer's son, Jake, this unique cider is made from 100% pure apple juice from apples handpicked on our 30 acres of orchards here at Hush Heath Estate.
Produced by our celebrated winemakers, this cider is fermented using the same wine yeasts and the same stainless steel tanks as used in our wine production. A secondary fermentation in bottle (Champagnestyle) provides a fine mousse and, after a few months settling in bottle, a dosage of subtle English strawberry and blackcurrant is added to set off the cider's crisp apple character. A real wine lover's cider!
Apple Varieties Cox – Bramley – Egremont Russet
Appearance: Pale pink English rose.
Nose: Clean and crisp, bursting with green apple, spring blossom and a subtle hint of strawberry and blackcurrant.
Palate: Light and low in alcohol, this is beautifully refreshing and moreish. Displays delicious red berry flavours and a vibrant acidity. The mousse is the defining feature in its finesse and lift.
