2008 vintage
The 2008 Balfour Brut Rosé is an old fashioned pale salmon pink colour. It displays an exceptionally sustained mousse, both in the glass and mouth, with a very fine bead. On the tongue it is creamy and persistent.
The nose is enticing with aromas of all-spice, rosemary, rose hip, and red fruits.
The classic English acidity frames the delicate flavours of raspberry and red cherry perfectly, leading onto a bracing citrus finish.
Balfour Brut Rosé is a limited edition, with only 11,300 bottles of the 2008 vintage produced, grown on the enchanting Hush Heath Estate in deepest Kent.
It is produced with the classic varietals, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier using the same rigorous controls as top quality Champagnes.
